A Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) provides knowledge in using natural remedies to help the body heal itself. In this naturopathy degree, you learn health science, clinical assessment, and herbal/nutritional medicine therapeutics. The course delivers a patient-centred approach incorporating biomedical science, research and traditional knowledge to teach safe and effective prescribing.
You can choose from an elective bank of subjects including traditional naturopathic modalities, advanced clinical nutrition, counselling or public health.
You will gain hands-on experience at The Practice Wellbeing Centre where you will consult with members of the public under the guidance of experienced naturopaths. This will prepare you to confidently start practice in the community.
