This special application fee waiver is for new undergraduate international students applying and registering for the Winter 2021 semester starting in January. To be eligible students must have a valid study permit or Study permit approval letter (letter of Introduction) to be submitted along with documents for application.

The University of Regina has extended the Undergraduate International Student Welcome Solidarity Scholarship and Housing Support to new undergraduate international students who will pursue their academic journey with the University of Regina starting from Winter 2021 term or Spring/Summer 2021 term. The criteria details are as follows:
This award provides up to $200,000 annually. $3,000 is automatically awarded to undergraduate students on a Study Permit who are applying for admission directly from a secondary school (or equivalent) into a direct-entry undergraduate program. Students must have an early-conditional admission average of 85.00% or higher and be enrolled in nine credit hours in the semester the award is presented.
